Writing Robust Bash Scripts

"The aim of the talk would be how to create robust, easy to debug and well crafted shell scripts. For some reason most of the time I found that software craftsmanship is not focused on scripting languages (Bash as an example). We need to change this, I often see important projects that don't take seriously the consequences of something extremely simple like this:

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/3671

(a script running a rm -rf / ... )

The talk would be focused on how to prevent this scenarios, how to write a good shell script, a well crafted bash script."
